The morning was filled with Snot and Smiles! 4 miles turned into 8, only 3 woods stop to go with that. I wanted to finish this week with 50 miles, and I finished with 51. I'm struggling with getting my speed back and how tough it is with GI issues is crazy! #fastpants on and get it done! #goals right?

Thursday ~ Training 
Pilates 45 
3-mile run
Went to the doctor today that didn't go as planned, the information I received was crazy! They thought I could be bleeding because of my hysterectomy that I had in 2018, and they thought I needed to work on my pelvic floor muscles with a PT "WHAT?" I've been doing Pilates for only 20 years give me a break to add to that I am a personal trainer with 23 years' experience DUH! I was so mad! 
  
Thankfully, I went with my gut instincts and called for a second opinion and that doctor was right on he knew what the heck I was talking, and he knew what he was talking about. 
Now I just have to wait and see what to do next he did make a suggestion to go pick up some 
 Citrucel so off to Wal-Mart. 
No second run tonight I have such a stomachache.

Training today "baby jog 3 easy miles" that's all I could do, my body said NOPE so I grabbed out the dumbbells and weight trained for 3o min. walked Bailey two miles then off to work.

Tuesday Run, Run 
I was looking so forward to running today even if it was 41 out so much different then yesterday! Well, I made it a mile and 1/2, and my stomach went crazy I was thinking it will be ok keep running as I soon found out it wasn't as I was 5 miles out; I was having MAJOR issues blood and mucus (yep, I know too much information) so it was a baby jog walk home.
 I called the doctor right away and long story short I'm going in on Thursday. It's just so hard when you love to do something and just like that it could be taken away just like that. Shower and off to work like nothing happened. However, my tummy was on fire.

Never miss a Monday~ after Yesterday's disaster run, I'm going to run again today! I just don't understand why I have G.I issues?? I've changed up my nutrition but still I had to run into the woods 6x and walk most of my run to get my tummy to settle down. I couldn't even finish my run last night because I still felt a little yucky from my morning run.  
I was talking to one of the doctors in the area she suggested I try whole30 for 30 days and then add foods back in to see how you do. However, I had lots of athletes who have done that challenge and they couldn't keep up with the workouts. I don't know I do know I hate it! 
Let's see what today brings!

Sunday is my loooooooong RUN! I hate that it stays so dark so much later in the am. Living out in nowhere land you don't know what's out there...

“Dirty Chia Run!” ✔️ the sun was HOT, HOT!!






I could only get in 8 miles my stomach was not liking me, I ended up in the woods more then I was running. UGH! I hate GI issues. My running goal for the week was 40 I ended up with 38.45. 
However, it's a new week tomorrow let's see what it brings.

Thursday - Fiit Pilates followed by a baby jog with Bailey Bear… Brrrrrrr out…. It's so incredible how time goes by so fast as the leaves are falling off the trees, the brisk cold breeze is in our face and the grass is now brown.

Wednesday Morning swim and Evening run

 Morning swim, goggles are beating me up, forgot my towel; thank gosh they had an extra one at the YMCA, and thank goodness I had an extra hat in the car nothing like getting dreaded getting out with a wet head. I had to get to work..

Evening Run with Matt from Peloton... Cross Country is done now I have to keep up my evening running on the dreadmill.

I can't believe I'm going to be 50 in March, I have picked the Northwoods race to see what I can do on it. I picked this race because my kids can ride their bikes on it. Yes, I know I have to 2022 Boston symbol they just didn't have the 2023 one out yet.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Tuesday-


Fiit Pilates, followed by an awesome #rootbeerfloat Dreadmill run with MATT…. 🤣


My run was ~ 2 mile warm up, 3-mile tempo run, 3-mile interval run, and 2 mile cool down 
With that indoor run I was so lucky we have a restroom downstairs. I just can't get away from my GI issues no matter what I eat or what I don't eat I'm still adding miles by running to the restroom. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to go in again I HATE IT!! 

After really thinking over my goals and changing things up, I always have to remember I am my only limit(s).

Never miss a Monday!


This morning was freezing out or I'm just a wimp lol! So I came back in did weight training woke my lils up and now off to work, I will do my 60min. bike this afternoon. 
Goals could have changed! after reading all the crap about Ironman Kona it almost makes you not want to goal Ironman is a business I get it however, when they focus on money and NOT the Athletes dream it's really hard. My goals might change this year to finish Ironman with my best time ever in WI and trying to qualify for Boston Marathon now with that said I will be going into a new age group so I will need to see what would benefit me.
