This week has been incredibly challenging. Not being able to do what I’m used to—especially due to my knee—has been both physically and "emotionally" frustrating. Climbing stairs is nearly impossible, and I’m constantly having to elevate my leg and apply ice every few hours. I’ve also been using ibuprofen to help manage the swelling and discomfort.
During a conversation with my Aunt Ramona, she mentioned trying KT Tape. I’ll admit, I was skeptical. I’ve seen it used by Ironman athletes, running, swimming athletes and thought it was more hype than help. But after using it myself, I’m genuinely amazed. The difference is significant. I’ve even been able to sleep with it on, and it’s provided real relief.
I’m hopeful and optimistic as I head to my doctor’s appointment tomorrow—this has been a humbling reminder of the importance of rest, recovery, and finding the right support tools along the way. Don't rush anything, things will come in time a tough reminder.
