Running in the cold!

COOL WEATHER RUNNING TIPS
Following are some tips for those planning on doing Fall Runs!
Make sure to Layer clothing: Wicking layer close to skin (polyproprelene, etc.)
Insulation layer next (cotton, or pile layer) Shell layer on the outside (Goretex, nylon, etc.) By layering, you can remove layers as your body warms up. - Head – wear a thermal hat - Hands – wear mittens or gloves (old socks work good) - Legs – running tights (different materials and thickness for different conditions) - Feet – keep feet dry by using an inner sock made of a moisture wicking material.
You want to wear enough layers so that you are not freezing, but are a little chilly at the start. A general rule is to dress as though it is 10-15 degrees warmer than the starting temperature. Remember, you will warm up as you start the race!
You could do all of that or just purchase a ton of those heated hand and feet warmers you know the ones they use for skiing or snowboarding and put them all over your body make sure you purchase a pair of tight paints, and a tight shirt to keep them close to your body and your off and believe me you will be really warm.
Safe and fun running!
