Get ready for Week 11/24 new goals for June

 June is almost here; I made a mental note to myself as I've been keeping up with my running (30) miles a week now time to work on my biking too so at least 4x a week with that said my goal is I will riding with the guys at least 1x a week to keep up the speed.

Reminder to myself!

Omg my first group ride in 15 years it was incredible!!!

 Wednesday 10-mile root beer float run followed by 60 min. Bike

Thursday last day of school for Korbinator crazy day 60 min. Evening ride 

Friday last day of school for little E Root beer float run/20-mile TT ride on MM

Saturday sick, sick, sick I was so mad I was going to go riding with a huge group and then sick. I went for walks to keep moving (still feeling sick, and puking) scared I might have covid!  

Sunday missing my race today because of being sick ugh! 

        I’ll see if I can get in a short run/ride see how the body feels after yesterday from sleeping all day. 

Yep, I was able to achieve a Root Beer Float Run…

Week 9

I will be very honest, I feel so out of shape, and when the doctor says your resting heart rate is 36 and your blood pressure is to low - you need to back off on your workouts! Are they kidding? So frustrating!!!

Finishing results everything looks good, they did take a few biopsy to see if anything else is going on! 
Now to figure out why I have blood in my poop!!! Ugh…..

Let’s get this party started

 So these last few weeks I’ve been having some “situations!”, as I’ve been “lightly” training for my legacy Ironman (AKA #12) . This “situation” has progressed so it’s time for an asap colonoscopy… “UGH!” In a nice positive, loving way I can say that! 

So today I start my prep! 

Follow these guidelines for five to seven days before your colonoscopy:

* Avoid nuts, seeds, dried fruits, dried beans and peas.

* Avoid whole grains and cereals.

* Choose cooked or canned fruits and vegetables over fresh ones.

* Choose white bread, white rice and products made with refined flour.

* Drink juices without pulp. 

NOW Thank goodness “I didn’t read” NO Peeps, No Gummy Bears, No Jelly Beans, No Licorice, and I don’t read No COFFEE!!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

            Now~

I will “lightly” continue to train and “follow my dreams”. 

I will also make sure I’m taking care of myself “inside & out!”.

Root beer float run!!!

 Yep, I’m feeling so good on my run, iron must be working! 

            As I get half way out it starts (running off into the woods) now I know I’m in trouble. Long story short as soon I get home cleaned up I call the doctor. Thankfully there was a cancelation and I can get in on Monday for a Colonoscopy.

Where did that week go?

Thank goodness for Strava! 

My week was full, full, full! 

I've been working on my dad and stepmoms party this week it's been very stressful (she's passing away from cancer). I was hoping he would make it to Saturday, she did and what a beautiful day it was. 

 I'm so blessed my dad asked me to work with him and kickingbear.org. I've been learned so much about the business and working to get kids off the streets and into the outdoors is for hunting, fishing and soon into fun events such as running and biking. 

This weeks training ~ 

Running 37 miles 

Biking 5 hours 

Swimming 4000

Walking with Bailey 8 miles 

Weight Training 2x 

I still feel so darn weak I hate it! Everyday will get better.... Still waiting to get in for my Colonoscopy the hospitals around here STINK! Off to run, get this week started on the right foot (literally).

Off to a new week, Let's get this training in!

Slowing down my training bring up my iron levels!!

Wowza nothing like riding bike and getting dizzy, high heart rate and feeling heavy legs! So I really kept it easy zone (2) then off to a walk with Bailey Bear!!


With my Ferritin Levels being so low I’ve started Iron 2-3x a day! Long story short I hope it kicks in soon, having these symptoms SUCKS of course I mean that in a nice, positive way of course!!!

Tuesday

After being told by the doctor don’t run! If you run it could make it so you cannot race your Ironman! We need to find out what’s going on with your stomach and why your bleeding. My iron levels are really low so today I started iron pills 3x day. Oh this will be fun……”NOT”
So today rode bike 90 min. Easy walk with Bailey;

Then afternoon was in the doctors office with results blood work looks good however, my iron is low, low so back on iron pills which makes so much sense why I’m slower in my runs, feel sluggish, and so many things more. I’m scheduled for a colonoscopy so that’s our next adventure.

Sick Sunday!

 I woke up feeling a little off however, I thought it's just in my head. I got on my bike and road 2 hours in zone 2/3 after feeling like yucka I thought I better lay down. After a few hours I decided to go for a baby jog/walk didn't help. A major stomach ache came on I tell ya I was on the couch with a heat pad on my stomach I was done! 

Monday woke up feeling good so I will swim and see how my body does to that.
