Jail house dodgeball
Covid 19 I hate you!
My husband came up sick he went in to get tested and “What a disaster,” he has Covid so everyone needs to stay home as we’ve been home we’ve been cleaning up everything in the house. As were getting ready for Christmas our son all the sudden got sick. We went in right away to get tested I came back negative he turned up positive so the stress has been so HIGH.
We’ve decided to keep the boys downstairs and the girls upstairs Elsie has been feeling good so we need to keep them apart which will be hard as soon as Elsie heard he was positive she cried and went right to a corner of the house and sat and cried.
I need to be able to express myself so I will be using this to do that, if Elsie sees me crying she’ll get scared so I need to be strong for her so I will be using this to express myself.
Now to get caught up with my next few weeks of PE classes.

What a great day!
I have to say handing out my planksgiving sheets to my little athletes was incredible so many were ready for the challenge now lets see how it goes through the month. On the Thanks side of the Planks and Thank, all athletes were given little note cards, on them they should write to their teachers, lunch ladies, janitor and principal how they helped them out over the years, give them thanks in their own words. This afternoon I looked in the bags and seen over 20 cards in them wow I really hope this month goes amazing with this..
The greatest thing in life is you can always change the way you or someone else thinks at any given time...

Ready for November and the Planksgiving Challenge..... This is going to our schools...
November Planksgiving Challenge!
This is a 30-Day Plank challenge will get progressively harder as we go through November. There are rest days built in to give your body a chance to let your muscles recuperate.
Tips for Planking:
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to plank:
1. Start off on a mat or on a flat surface. Start in push-up position.
2. Lower both your forearms to the ground so that both your elbows and fists are flat to the ground. Your palms should be balled up, and directly underneath your shoulders.
3. Engage your abs by tilting your pelvis and pulling your belly button towards your spine.
4. Straighten your body but make sure to keep your neck and spine neutral.
5. Be mindful of your form at all times keep your glutes tight this will help you hold your plank.
6. Hold the Plank for the Suggested time.
7. If you find the daily time too difficult, then just plank as long as you can, or break it up into smaller sets.
8. Think the challenge is too easy? Add another interval or add in a plank variation such as Side Planks, Reverse Planks, or Planks with Hip Dip.
Why plank exercises?
Plank exercises strengthen the core. Core muscles help to support the body and allow us to use our arms and legs strongly and effectively. Strong core muscles form the foundation for good posture, coordination, and balance. All gross and fine motor skills rely on a stable core.
Send pictures of you and your family planking and send them to-Maureen.grenisen@aquinasschools.org
Note: Some photos will go into our Annual Year Book.
